Vision Therapy

in Orlando, Clermont, Winter Garden

What Is It

Vision therapy is a doctor-supervised, customized program of visual activities for the eyes and the brain designed to treat certain vision problems and improve visual skills. It is a highly effective non-surgical treatment for many common vision problems, as well as, certain reading and learning disabilities.

What To Expect

If vision therapy is recommended, sessions are once per week for 50 minutes. The sessions are one-on-one and are tailored for each patient’s specific diagnosis and program goals. The treatment plan also includes vision therapy activities to be completed at home. Typically, the home activities are expected to be done 10 minutes per day on the days that you are in not in the office. Dr. Toler will monitor the therapy throughout the program and also provide progress evaluations approximately every 10-12 sessions.

Program Length

The length of our vision therapy program is based upon the severity of symptoms, diagnoses, age, and learning challenges. 22, 33, or 44 weekly session are typically prescribed. In specific cases, we will work in 11 session increments and re-evaluate based on the progress made.

There are no contracts. You can stop at anytime for any reasons. You are only charged for the sessions received.
